Bamboozle Roadshow

Bamboozle was so HOT! And by hot, I literally mean that it was hot. Like seriously I think it was like 93 outside. By far the hottest day of the year so far (which only makes me dread how hot Warped Tour is going to be). But, besides it being hot... I HAD A SUPER COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF FUN!!!

If you are thinking... "hmmm, should I go to the Bamboozle Roadshow?"... I can answer that for you... YES! Yes, you should go, my only suggestion, bring sunblock and tons of it. SPF 30 or higher...especially if you are going to be in the sun all day. Also, wear super comfortable shoes and drink tons of liquids (preferably water), but at least drink something.

With all that said, I got tons of pictures from the show. We didn't get to see everyone because when Allison and I weren't hiding in the shade or backstage interviewing someone, the two stage sets overlapped, so we were lucky to catch what we did. But, click the link below to see the pictures:

Woooo, that was a lot of pictures and shows. But, I had the time of my life at every single one of them. Which what is the point of going to concerts if you don't... right?

So, the next show I am going to is this Sunday... the Bamboozle Roadshow!!! I am really excited about seeing Boys Like Girls, Good Charlotte, Hanson, and All Time Low (those are the big headliners)... I am really bummed that I won't be seeing LMFAO again, but I am kind of dying on the inside that I won't get to see Third Eye Blind (both bands just aren't playing at all the dates... such a bummer). I seriously love Third Eye Blind... so sad. But, still super excited about all the bands I do get to see.

I get to see my friend Ryan Oyer at the end of this month. He is so talented and I have known him since 7th grade. Such a great friend and a great musician. Also, I am in limbo right now if I want to see Crash Kings the day before my birthday. I really want to go, but I think I would be going by myself :(.

Then there are a lot of hot tours that I am going to be hitting up the summer... I still need to map out my plan of attack but one show I can't miss is the Vans Warped Tour. I didn't go last year, but the year before was explosive... can't wait to go back! :)

Other bands that I am looking at getting tickets too (mostly fall shows) are Tom Petty; Rush; and maybe the Jonas Brothers. I love that my music taste is so eccentric!

I think that is up with the updates... I am sure I have forgot something or some concert, blah blah blah. But, I PROMISE to update more. And I want to try to do something different every week. Maybe a playlist every week of songs I am feeling; more music videos; album reviews; etc. I promise to TRY... hehe.

LMFAO, Ludacris, Black Eyed Peas Concert

I am going to make this post, short and sweet. The Concert.... WAS AMAZING!!!!! I honestly don't know if I ever danced that much at a show. I was on my feet the whole concert from beginning to end.

My Aunt Cyndi and I got to Birmingham and did a little shopping. Then we went to 5 points downtown and ate some Mexican food. Then made our way to the BJCC. We waited a little in line, and managed to sneak my camera and her drink in (later I found out, they didn't even care that people had cameras... usually they are a real stickler about it). We found our seats which weren't too shabby considering the fact that I only paid $10.37/ticket.

The first band to perform was LMFAO I was so excited about seeing them. I have liked them for quite a while... probably longer than most people have. I liked them since before it was cool to like them! :) Anyways, they are hilarious and great performers. They really got the crowd going. You can check out my pictures of them HERE

After LMFAO, it was Ludacris... LUDACRIS!!!! OMG! I went a little crazy during Ludacris, mostly because I never thought I would see him in concert and because he is probably one of my favorite rappers! I am proud to say I knew every song he performed. I think everyone around me was impressed with my mad rapping skills! ;) The funniest part of his set was when he asked "Where are the real, true Ludacris fans?" and I was like "ME ME ME!!!" and pointing at myself like a maniac. But, what was great about it, is Cyndi is beside me pointing at me, saying "this girl right here!" It was a proud moment! LOL You can check out my Ludacris pictures HERE

After Ludacris, it was a party when Black Eyed Peas came out. The scary green face is the first thing you see (it reminds me of a modern day Oz), but their show was explosive. I can't even explain the visual show my eyes witnessed, and the fresh beats that my ears enjoyed... all I know was that it was insane. My favorite two parts were brought to you by Will.i.Am. The first was when he free-style rapped. I don't think I have ever heard someone rap that fast. After he was done I looked at Cyndi and was like "WHAT?!?!? DID THAT JUST HAPPEN?!?!" She was in a fit of laughter at my facial expression. My 2nd favorite thing was when Will.i.Am turned the Arena into a dance club and DJed himself. I thought the arena was going to explode from pure party insanity. I can't remember what all he spun, but he definitely included "In the Ayer", "The Way You Make Me Feel", some Red Hot Chili Peppres, "Smells Like Teen Spirit", he even threw in some "Sweet Home Alabama" :D. I discovered this song listening to the Garden State Soundtrack, and it quickly became my favorite song off that soundtrack.
